Chapter 7

Organized Planning

This Chapter has a wealth of information in it!  I am going to pick out the one that stood out the most to me:  SELF-ANALYSIS QUESTIONNAIRE FOR PERSONAL INVENTORY.

Being a Blue, I pride myself on getting a lot done in one day.  Checklists are huge for me at work!  I gain a sense of satisfaction in being able to check off a multitude of tasks throughout the day.  However, the self-analysis made me question the quality of the items I check off daily.

Take #2 for example:   Have I delivered service of the best possible QUALITY of which I was capable, or could I have improved any part of this service?

Quality is what I am thinking about here.  With every customer I interacted with throughout the day, did I provide QUALITY customer service?  Or did I merely get them taken care of to move on to the next customer?

I am currently working a day job in which I would not have chosen if not for the pay and location.    My goal is to work from home and I plan to do this by the end of the year.  Since I have started with Mentoring For Free, my attitude toward my job changed.  I AM thankful for my job.  Part of my self-talk as I drive to work is:  I am Joyful, I am Thankful, I am Positive, I have Favor with every single customer and with my co-workers.

I am going to print out this Self-Analysis and keep it with me, to remind me that I WILL provide QUALITY service and work in my current position and in all of my interactions.

I am so thankful to my mentor and everyone else here.  I have grown so much already and am looking forward to learning more!

To Our Success,

Linda O.
