Chapter 3 - Faith

Hill writes, "Every man is what he is, because of the DOMINATING THOUGHTS
which he permits to occupy his mind. Thoughts which a man
deliberately places in his own mind, and encourages with
sympathy, and with which he mixes any one or more of the

emotions, constitute the motivating forces, which direct
and control his every movement, act, and deed!"

What I got from this paragraph was "Thoughts which a man deliberately places
in HIS OWN MIND
directs and controls his every movement, act, and deed!

In other words, we are responsible for our thoughts and
and these thoughts, which we created, are what makes us do
what we do.  We are the creators of our own world.  So we need
to ask ourselves, What am I creating?  What am I allowing to
be created as my world?

The more we listen to others and to our self talk, we are
creating and building our faith in that "something".

Hill goes on to say "A thought thus “magnetized” with emotion
may be compared to a seed which, when planted in fertile soil,
germinates, grows, and multiplies itself over and over again,
until that which was originally one small seed, becomes countless
millions of seeds of the SAME BRAND!"

I had a lady join my business. She had a very big goal when she signed
up.  She bought product every month but I could never get a hold
of her to help her build her business.  She finally wrote and told me
"I just cannot make myself ask people about my
business. I am not sure why, but it just hasn't inspired me."

Was it up to the business to inspire her?  What was she telling herself?
What was she creating every day in her mind?

I belive when we tell ourselves over and over something does not
inspire us, we are creating a world of "I am going to quit sooner or later."
The sad thing is we don't even realize this is what we are doing.

Faith - we are the creators of our faith.  So what are we creating?
