CHAPTER 14 : THE SIXTH SENSE

THE SIXTH SENSE IS A GIFT THAT WE ALL HAVE . IT IS NOT ONLY POSSESSED BY BLIND OR DEAF PEOPLE. THEIRS IS ADMIRABLE AND MAKES THEM GIFTED AND TALENTED.

I SEE THE SIXTH SENSE AS, FOR INSTANCE, WHEN I AM ON MY WAY TO CHURCH AND THE PHONE RINGS. I DROP MY KEYS TO ANSWER THE PHONE. ELAINE IS ON THE LINE AND SHE IS

COUGHING. I RECOMMEND THAT SHE TAKE "ROBITUSSIN". SHE AGREES AND WE HANG UP. THEN, I FORGET WHERE I LEFT MY KEYS. I MUST RETRACE MY FOOTSTEPS. I MUST VISUALIZE

WHAT I WAS DOING BEFORE I WAS INTERRUPTED. I SIT DOWN AND TAKE A BREATH. SUDDENLY, IT COMES TO ME. I GRAB THE KEYS AND CARRY ON.

THIS FEELING CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE. IT MAY HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING. IT MAY HAPPEN ON THE BUS. WHENEVER IT OCCURS, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS USE LANDMARKS, WHEN DRIVING.

WHEN ON THE BUS, THINK OF SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED , AT THAT PARTICULAR LOCATION.

I FEEL THIS IS BENEFICIAL BECAUSE IT KEEPS YOU FOCUSED. IT HELPS YOU TO LOCATE LOST ITEMS. IT ALSO KEEPS YOU FROM GETTING LOST.

I THINK THAT MEDITATION AND PRAYER ARE THE IDEAL WAYS TO STRENGTHEN THIS GIFT. IT KEEPS YOU FOCUSED ON ONE POINT, WITHOUT GETTING TOTALLY DISTRACTED.

IT DISCIPLINES THE MIND.

FINALLY, THE SIXTH SENSE IS WHAT WE NEED TO STAY AWAKE, ALERT AND ALIVE. AT THE RISK OF APPEARING LIKE A "SPACE CADET", IT HELPS US TO CONCENTRATE. IT IS AN

EXCELLENT  SURVIVAL TOOL.
