Chapter 13 - The Brain

Napoleon Hill states "The subconscious mind is the “sending station” of the brain,
through which vibrations of thought are broadcast. The Creative Imagination is the
“receiving set,” through which the vibrations of thought are picked up from the ether."

I go grocery shopping once a week.  Not my favorite chore but one that we all have to do.
I use this time as well to speak to people about my business or introduce them to one of
my products from my Network Marketing company.  I have a business card about 4" x 6",
very bright, attached to my purse so when I place my purse on a counter people see it right away.

On my way to shopping this past week I wanted people to ask me about my business
so I created a self talk to that effect and repeated the self talk the whole time I was driving to the store
which is about 20 minutes from my home.

I had two ladies approach me and actually ask me about my card.

How did this happen? Why did this happen? Was it a coincidence?

My belief is that I had prepared my brain to send out the vibration of thought to ask
about my business and their brains at that point were using their receiving part of the
brain to accept and acknowledge that request.   Hence, the question they asked was,
“What is that?"  Exactly what I had requested.

I had prepared my sending station through self talk.  Well actually it was self sing.
I had sung my self talk so it would be with more emotion, feeling and excitement and
those two ladies were ready to receive the vibration my brain was sending out.

So what are we thinking about?  What are we telling ourselves?  What are we sending
out from our sending station?

A quote from James Allen - "Our life is what our thoughts make it. A man will find that
as he alters his thoughts toward things and other people, things and other people will
alter towards him."
