Think & Grow Rich Lessons

“Already men of science have begun to turn their attention
to the study of this "stu-pen-dous" thing called a brain, and,
while they are still in the kindergarten stage of their
studies, they have uncovered enough knowledge to know that
the central switchboard of the human brain, the number of
lines which connect the brain cells one with another, equal
the figure one, followed by fifteen million ciphers.

It has been determined that there are from 10,000,000,000 to
14,000,000,000 nerve cells in the human cerebral cortex, and
we know that these are arranged in definite patterns. These
arrangements are not haphazard. They are orderly.   Recently
developed methods of electro-physiology draw off action currents
from very precisely located cells, or fibers with micro-
electrodes, amplify them with radio tubes, and record potential
differences to a millionth of a volt.”

In the 70+ years since Napoleon Hill wrote “Think and Grow Rich”
science has advanced their knowledge of the brain, yet it still
holds more mystery, more secret, and more wonder than that which
has been learned. What is known is but a tumble full compared to
the oil tankers of that which is unknown.

My thoughts when to the last study of the subconscious mind as I
reason on the what, where, how, and why. What is this wonder place
in the brain where is stored all the emotional inputs of a lifetime?
Where do I find it so as to implant a better control of what comes
in or out? How important are the thoughts I allow to seep in this
realm? Why is it necessary to be on guard, continually vigilant of
what we attract to ourselves and who we let influence us?

What? I do know this brain of mine is wondrously made by God has
more capacity than can be comprehended. 10 to 14 billion nerve
cells arranged in a definite, and an orderly manner. Designed for
more than just simple daily activities of living, but so made to
take us greater heights.

Where? It is just the right location placed where God wanted it to
be, so we can store our emotions, thoughts, dreams and desires. The
task before us is to fill it with those positive emotions as discussed
in Chapter 12. To clear the stains of negative emotions as pure water
will wash polluted waste from glass.

How? Learn to stop the pollution of my mind by being sure to full
it positive materials, read good books, CD” s and video’s. If you
don’t know what to read as your mentor. I personally read Proverbs
every month, just one chapter per day. Surround yourselves with
positive people, as this mastermind at Mentoring for Free. Link arms
with a mentor who will guide you, but let you work at your pace.

Why?  Be on guard because we are but a work in progress. Our thoughts
and intentions are constantly being bombarded by chatter of the world
around us. Unless we work on ourselves, we can be sucked back into the
stinking thinking.

Let Mentoring for Free be your Master Mind, your round-table. This
method of mind stimulation, through harmonious discussion of definite
subjects, between people of like mind. By adopting and following a
similar plan any student of this philosophy may come into possession
of the famous Carnegie formula briefly described in the beginning of
this book.

Thinks to Michael and Linda Dlouhy for their vision in creating this
mastermind. Thanks to Bob Shoaf for his friendships and support. Thanks
to each of who participate on these lessons and calls. A special thanks
to everyone who downloads Success in 10 Steps and share you journey with me.
