LACK OF PERSISTENCE is one of the most common causes of failure in business.
As Napoleon Hill taught us, you must possess two critical elements to achieve your goals: 1.) A burning desire to achieve success, and 2.) The habit of persistence.
While this may sound simple at the outset, it actually takes a person of immense fortitude to remain on course to achieve success in life. Even if you have a “burning desire”, you must also have the perseverance.
People who continue toward their goals despite obstacles are often met with huge success.
The good news is that we all have the capacity for greatness!
“No one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.” – Napoleon Hill
Decision-making involves choosing between possible solutions to a problem. Decisions can be made through either an intuitive or reasoned process, or a combination of the two.
We make so many quick decisions unconsciously; others we agonize over. We choose actions and form opinions via mental processes which are influenced by biases, reason, emotions, and memories. Some question whether we really even have free will; others believe it is well within our power to make choices that will lead to greater well-being.
Every decision-making process produces a final choice; it may or may not prompt action. Decision-making is the process of identifying and choosing alternatives based on the values and preferences of the decision-maker.
