The Eighth Step toward Riches

I got ahead of myself and posted Chapter 9, Persistence. Oh well!

Webster defines persistence as the quality that allows a person to continue
doing something, even though it is difficult and opposed by other people.

Napoleon Hill's definition is similar; persistence is to the character of man as
carbon is to steel. He continues by saying, for us to build a fortune we must
understand and apply all 13 Principles of his philosophy with PERSISTENCE.

Michael Dlouhy's philosophy is to build it once, build it big and build it to
pay your children's children. We don't want to have to be starting over every 2
to 5 years. Eight decades of Napoleon Hill's philosophy has shown most people
throw in the towel and give up at the first sign of opposition.

Your first test will come when You apply the steps in Chapter 2, DESIRE. Here
again Napoleon Hill references this Chapter 2, DESIRE. By now we MUST realize
Chapter 2, DESIRE must be completed. Since Chapter 2 here in Think and Grow Rich
Lessons is this important, Chapter 2 of Success In 10 Steps must be just as
important. Chapter 2 here is an extension or continuation of Chapter 2 in
Success In 10 Steps.

Hill says we MUST learn how to apply these 13 Principles contained in Chapters
2-14. We learn them here in the Think and Grow Rich Lessons. We learn to apply
them using the Mentoring For Free Pro System that generates Michael Dlouhy's
ebook, branded with our name, email address, phone number and our mentoring

As with any profession, putting the book learning into practice takes time. If
it was easy, everyone would have learned these 13 Principles. Our mentor can
help us, but it is our responsibility to learn by doing.

We will hit a brick wall very soon. How we respond determines our future. If we
blame others, as most people do, our success will be very limited. If we have a
PERFECT, self-talk, as Ken Klemm recommends, with unstoppable faith, we will get
past any obstacle we meet.

What a beautiful place Mentoring For Free is for us to learn and practice what
we are learning. I am grateful to be a part of it. Thanks so much Linda and
Michael Dlouhy for your PERSISTENCE.
