Think & Grow Rich Lessons

I am an artist besides being in network marketing.  I hand make and sell thousands of Louisiana Christmas ornaments all year round, but especially between September and January.  During that time when I am so busy that I can hardly find the time to sleep, is the time when my imagination is running wild.  And, although I am making the regular designs that I have made for the past 35 years, I am always coming up with new ideas during this very demanding time.

When January comes, I have a hard time motivating myself to create new designs that people have asked for for next year because I don't have the sale and so I get lazy and my imagination hits the floor.  I resist doing anything creative and give myself excuses each day...."I worked so hard for the past 3 months that I deserve to have a few days (weeks) off, "I haven't had time to do the things around the house for the past 3 months".  "I need to take a nap and catch up on my sleep".

While in the throngs of the holiday season, when I get tired, I go ride my bike.  After the holidays, I take a nap when I'm tired.  Not good!

Resistance to what I know is good for me stops my imagination and make me feel unfulfilled.  Ignoring resistance and doing what I need to do to make my imagination kick in is going to make me feel more productive and happier.
