Ideas have been the seedlings from which great fortunes have grown, Ideas change lives. Ideas provide a living for multitudes.
It was an idea that was sold for $500 by the doctor to the pharmacist. It doesn’t seem like a lot of money in today’s time but it was the pharmacist’s life savings at the time.
Even if you are not the creator of the idea, if you have the imagination to recognize a good idea you can be sure you can capitalize on it.
Hill said “all master salesman know that ideas can be sold where merchandise cannot. Ordinary salesmen do not know this-that's why they are ordinary”
Maybe we should keep this in mind as we acquire customers, we should realize that we are not selling a pill, a powder, or a potion but what the product has done for you or someone else…. A story or a testimonial if you will!
Or for a opportunity we are really selling a vision or an idea of what that opportunity can do in their lives ( more time with their family, no more commutes, etc.
Is seems to me that plan an idea is mixed with the imagination you have one powerful combination.
I find that my imagination has not been used in years to its full potential, It has been squashed and put down by others, even authority figures. Imagination is like a muscle, It needs to be exercised regularly. Remember when you were kid you could be anything you wanted to be, nothing was impossible.
