Chapter 6, Imagination

"The greatest service you can perform for the world is to be the truest expression of yourself. "  Natasha Salman

Most of us are not born full of wisdom.  I believe we come into this life with a purpose and develop the wisdom to fulfill it through the experiences we have.  The more awake we become, the more we gain the clarity of mind that Michael frequently talks about, the more we are able to fulfill our purpose to be the truest expression of ourselves.

Part of that process is tapping our imagination.  Hill describes imagination as "the workshop wherein are fashioned all plans created by man."  Without imagination we would be forever stuck.  It would be like being born in a box and never realizing there was life outside of it and just accepting its walls as all that life has to offer.  It takes imagination to move beyond the box where we are now to the bigger and better place we want to be, to be able to express ourselves fully.  And just when we think we have arrived, imagination lets us realize there is even more out there and the process starts all over again.

Most people who discover Mentoring for Free are stuck in a box called "the traditional way to do network marketing."  If they listen to their upline they start making lists of all their friends and family and contacting them, and for most of us it is downhill from there.  The rejection gets to be overwhelming and we quit.  MFF gives us the tools to understand that there is more out there than the traditional way to do business.  I can still remember how shocked I was the first time someone told me I could build a business without ever asking anyone to join me.  I  didn't quite believe what I was hearing. "You mean there is another way to do this?  Why didn't someone else tell me this? Where was this information years ago?"  But it gave my imagination something new to work with....my world expanded and opened to the possibility of something new and bigger.  I created a vision board and at the top there is the following quote:  "I am choosing a Bigger Life."

Imagination is what we must have and must use when we are ready for that Bigger Life. How do we know when we're ready?  That's easy, when we start to take action.

Imagination is the starting point...imagination makes it possible to envision the Bigger Life, the one that comes from living our WHY. And when we open the door to imagination and pay attention, we start getting messages about what to do next, and next, and next after that.  No wonder Hill calls Imagination "the workshop of the mind."  It is where dreams are created before they become our reality.  And whether or not they manifest, whether or not we become the truest expressions of ourselves, is up to us.
