Chapter 14 – The Sixth Sense
A couple of nights ago, I went for a walk in my neighborhood, and discovered that a lot of houses had their Christmas lights turned on. I started off on my regular route, but at one point I asked myself “Where does this street go?” After walking for a few minutes admiring the pretty lights, I came across a small cul-de-sac. The lights were amazing! Not only were most of the houses lit up, but also the neighbors strung lights over the street, around trees, and even around the lamp post. It looked like something from a magazine. If I had stuck to my normal route or had walked this street a week later, I never would have found this amazing light show.
Napoleon Hill says: “There comes to your aid, and to do your bidding, with the development of the sixth sense, a “guardian angel” who will open to you at all times the door to the Temple of Wisdom.”
While searching for ways to build a business, we decided to walk down this undiscovered street called Mentoring For Free, and found something amazing – a business system based on wisdom and sharing. We’ve learn different ways to think about this industry, understand why our past training didn’t work, and practice new skills that are needed for business success. As we grow our business with MFF, our sixth sense kicks in to tweak ideas and concepts shared by mentors, tuning these skills to make them our own. When we listen to our inner voice, our inspirations, our brilliance, we’ll create a business unique to us, then pass on our experience to other network marketers seeking a clear path on their journey. We become mentors because we took action when we asked ourselves, “Where does this street go?”
