Chapter 13 - The Brain

THE BRAIN: A BROADCASTING AND RECEIVING STATION FOR THOUGHT

This chapter reminds me how I was always able to solve intricate challenges by discussing issues with my mentor. My mentor at the time was also my teacher and this goes along with all we are being taught here, by Michael.

“Network Marketing is NOT a Sales business, but a Teaching and Mentoring business”

What I was using was the combined ‘creative imagination’ of two like minds, which could only be achieved by the ‘receiving’ part of our brain being on the same wave length, so that our combined Creative Imaginations, could come together and solve the challenge before us both.

We may not have come up with the solution at the time of discussion, but the ‘mind’ exchanges between us injected a further thought process which enable us both to come up with additional solutions, not just the one we were looking for.

That is where we use the ‘broadcasting’ skill that Napoleon Hill is talking about here in this chapter. I, for one, had never looked at it in this way before!

Our brain is not just a brilliant ‘Receiver’, it can also ‘silently’ transmit energy at a higher than normal frequency, which is able to ‘Broadcast’ (communicate) across the ether, to another ‘tuned-in – Receiver’!

This is what I now believe happens in our own magnificent ‘Master Mind’ discussions, whether they be with just one individual or more. (It has been pointed out on several occasions, that a Master Mind consists of two or more like minded individuals)

Hill goes on to describe this so clearly here:

“The subconscious mind is the “sending station” of the brain, through which vibrations of thought are broadcast. The Creative Imagination is the “receiving set,” through which the vibrations of thought are picked up from the ether.”

By being able to provide a solution for other peoples challenges, we can then realise the ‘monetary equivalent’ that Hill speaks about.

For me, that is the pleasure I derive from seeing the look of satisfaction and relief on the face of the person I have been able to help.

Thank you all for sharing your wisdom and experience, it means so much!
