Ctrl/Cmd+V The Subconscious Mind
Control of my subconscious mind predetermines my success or failure in life. Hill says: “The subconscious mind consists of a field of consciousness in which every impulse of thought that reaches the conscious mind through any of the five senses is classified and recorded, and from which thoughts may be recalled or withdrawn as letters may be taken from a filing cabinet.” He says that I cannot entirely control it, in the sense, that it will pick up all manner of thoughts, but that I can program my mind to cancel or reject the thoughts I consider harmful.
I control my thoughts by applying the 13 principles habitually. He states: “The thirteen principles are the stimuli with which you acquire the ability to reach and to influence your subconscious mind”; and, “Remember that the subconscious mind may be voluntarily directed only through habit.”
The subconscious mind is the control centre of my mind and, indeed, of my life. If I lose control, I am like a spaceship drifting aimlessly, having lost contact with the universe and Infinite Intelligence. My spaceship has been taken over by aliens. The aliens are negative thoughts.
To rescue my situation, I must decide what my life’s purpose is and inject positive suggestions into my subconscious mind many times daily by saying a suitable self-talk.
Regards and best wishes to all.
