Chapter 11 The Mystery of Sex Transmutation
This chapter is about using the power of emotion to create results when all we have is a thought or idea about what we would like to create. What do you want to create in your lifetime? What are you driven to do? Whatever it is you will need emotion to get there.
Emotion can lift us to what Hill calls "this exalted plane of thought," where "the creative faculty of the mind is given freedom for action." To get to this place we can use the 10 stimuli of the mind that Hill lists in this chapter. Eight of them are positive emotions of which the most powerful is the desire for sex expression, but the list includes love, burning desire, music, friendship, mastermind alliance, mutual suffering and autosuggestion. Hill tells us that these stimuli "'step up' the mind and start the 'wheels' of physical action."
An interesting example of the power of emotion for creating positive action is the story of Azim Khamisa whose only son, 20 year old Tariq, was shot to death by 14 year old Tony Hicks who was tried as an adult and sentenced to 25 years in prison. After a period of grief, Azim used the power of his suffering to create the Tariq Khamisa Foundation dedicated to stopping children from killing children.
As part of this process he reached out and began masterminding with with Ples Felix, Tony's grandfather, and the two of them now run the foundation together visiting schools, talking to other children and offering them a different vision. Eventually Azim met Tony, still in prison, and promised him a job when he finally gets out of prison.
Hill uses the term "genius" to describe the people who use emotions to stimulate their minds and develop their creative imaginations. It is truly a system for tapping into infinite intelligence and using what we learn there to move forward with whatever we want to create, be it more money, a nicer lifestyle, or a world-changing organization. And the other good news is that this is a system that is available to any of us that want to use it consistently to create whatever we want in life.
