CHAPTER 13 - THE BRAIN
The brain is the broadcasting and receiving station for thought similar to a radio broadcasting station. Before I joined MFF and perhaps until very recently I never thought about the brain in this way. What a concept? I must have missed out on a lot of things and ideas since, according to Hill, every human brain is capable of picking up vibrations of thought which are being released by other brains.
Unknown to many of us we allow our brains to be idle, undisturbed in our control stations, taking in and absorbing everythihg around us, and then dispersing the needed functions to the body. We never think about how the brain is taking in absolutely everything. In this chapter, Hill talks about the existence of "a network of intricate machinery" and how this machinery is used for growth and maintenance of the physical body.
We know that thought is energy travelling at an exceedingly high rate of vibration. Hill says that when the brain is vibrating at a rapid rate, it not only attracts thoughts and ideas released by other brains through the medium of the ether, but it gives to one’s own thoughts that FEELING which is essential before those thoughts will be
picked up and acted upon by one’s subconscious mind. In this regard the importance of positive Self-Talk said many times a day cannot be overemphasized.
Thought, which has been modified or “stepped up” by any of the major emotions, vibrates at a much higher rate than ordinary thought, and it is this type of thought which passes from one brain to another, through the broadcasting machinery of the human brain.
Thank you Michael and Linda for creating this Mastermind that allows my brain to feed on the thoughts of all the participants in the group consciously or unconsciously.
