Chapter 12--Subconscious Mind

When I was in high school, I took two years of French class.  At first the words were
awkward to say; it felt like I had peanut better in my mouth.  With lots of practice, I
eventually began to speak the words of another language with some measure of

When we read “Think and Grow Rich”  the first few times, it seems like it, too, is a
foreign language.  After all, how do you merely think certain thoughts and then
see them manifested in your life?

One of the things we are encouraged to do when we begin our journey in network
marketing is to write down our WHY.

As Michael Dlouhy says,

“Your Why has to be bigger than you.”

It has to be more than to pay off credit card debt or to be financially free.

Once we finally take pen to paper and write down our WHY, we wonder, “Okay, what
We can recite the words on the page a million times and still not see it realized.

One of the key secrets that Hill reveals to us is that the Subconscious Mind has its
own secret language.

“You must speak its language, or it will not heed your call.”

The language the Subconscious Mind understands best is the language of Emotion
or Feeling.

Words alone are not enough to change the Subconscious Mind.  It takes
It requires ...

No Excuses, 100% Period,  Burn-the-Bridges,

Get-Off-Your-Butt,  Do-or-Die COMMITMENT.

If you're saying your Self-Talk with ho-hum, slump-in-the-chair, droopy-eyed energy,
you will die with the music still in you.

Someone once told me,

“Whatever you want, wants you.”

Isn't that an awesome thought! That statement gives me HOPE because the things I
want, want ME. ME!!!   My responsibility is to allow Positive Emotions to continually
wash over my mind, lock the door on anything Negative, and speak with Confidence.

To Think and Grow Rich is not for the faint of heart.  It is not for the person who wants
to get rich quick.  It is not for the person who starts and stops and starts and stops.

But it is for the person who WILL NOT QUIT.  No matter how long it takes, I’m in this
for-ever.  I’m growing into a better ME; I’m becoming a better wife, mother,
daughter, grandma, and friend.

I'm loving the process...And I’m enjoying each step of my journey.

Je t’aime, mon ami!
