Napoleon Hill tells us that most people are ready to give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune.
Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter tells us that everybody wants to be part of most people.
Wow … what a dilemma!
I failed for 11 Years before I downloaded and read ‘Success in 10 Steps’ and then I failed for a few more years after that … while I was learning some basic network marketing skills.
I’m glad I didn’t run into Big Al’s training in those first 11 Years or I may have been convinced that I wanted to be part of most people and given up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune … or I may have given up at one of the numerous other signs of opposition or misfortune I encountered along the way.
Now don’t get me wrong … I love Big Al’s training and I’m just playing on words here but the bottom line is … I guess I’m not part of most people and neither are ‘most people’ reading this lesson.
There’s an old saying ‘You don’t know what you don’t know’ and the fact of the matter is that I didn’t know that I was doing network marketing all wrong.
There’s another old saying ‘When you read the truth, it resonates with you and you just know it’s the truth’ and that’s exactly what happened when I read ‘Success in 10 Steps’ back in 2010.
When you don’t know what you don’t know it’s difficult to stay persistent but when you’re armed with the truth and a few basic skills (and you know you can’t fail) … staying persistent is easy.
I’m just going to keep on keepin’ on … who’s with me ?
