Chapter 6 – Imagination

The creative imagination functions ONLY when the conscious mind is vibrating at an exceedingly rapid rate, as for example, when the conscious mind is stimulated through the emotion of a strong desire.

I think back to childhood about things I wanted so badly that I was devastated if I didn’t get them. My conscious mind was vibrating at such an exceedingly rapid rate that I thought I was going to burst. Then my well-meaning family members would encourage me not to dream too high because I’d likely be disappointed.

This was my programming and eventually, the rapid rate of vibration slowed and the dreams vanished. Had I only known then what I know today, the words of my well-meaning family members would have fallen on deaf ears just as the words of well-meaning family and friends fall on deaf ears today!

The creative faculty becomes more alert, more receptive to vibrations from various sources, in proportion to its development through USE.

Imagine a child learning to walk. The child fails many times but keeps trying and eventually learns to walk (perhaps a little wobbly at first) but develops the skill of walking through continuous use.

What we’re doing here is no different. We can defer to our programming or we can continue to dream despite our programming and eventually, our conscious minds will begin to vibrate faster and faster until our creative imaginations are working in overdrive.

Both the synthetic and creative faculties of imagination become more alert with use, just as any muscle or organ of the body develops through use.

Use It or Lose It … Never Stop Dreaming … Imagine
