Think & Grow Rich Lessons

When I was a child...

  1. I defended my family against intruders...with my finger,
  2. I won the Daytona 500...on my bicycle,
  3. I went to the a cardboard box.

How did I do it?  IMAGINATION.

Fast forward a few years.

I was raised and continue to live in a community about 10 miles north of Prattville, Al (the county seat and largest

city).  The area in which I live, although growing, is considered country.  About 30 years ago I had an idea.

Storage rental units were becoming very popular.  There was a piece of property for sell between the interstate

highway and a US highway.  In other words a good location.  I had the finances and availalel credit to buy

the land and build the units.  You are saying, "Great!  You have some residual income from those storage units."

Not so fast.  I began to tell myself, "Len, this is the country.  Everybody has a storage building in their back yard.

No one will want to rent one of your units."  In short, my imagination and Infinite Intelligence showed me a plan

and I stifled it.

As I said earlier, the area in which I live was growing and still is.  Had I allowed my imagination

to expand on my original idea, it would have taken that fact and realised that soon builders would begin to build

large developments and even more people would move to our area.

You have probably already guessed the end of this story.  I have 2 friends that have built storage units since

then.  Both have had to expand and still have waiting lists.

Thankfully, because of MFF, my imagination has been released and is pouring ideas into me again.  Results

forthcoming.  It is still a struggle not to say, "that's not possible."  But I am winning that battle.  Right now I

am probably 8 1/2 feet tall and bullet resistent.  I will be 10 FEET TALL AND BULLET PROOF.

Moral:  release your inner child and imagine again.

Thanks Michael & Linda, Bob Shoaf, and all members of this Master Mind Group for believing in me and pouring

into me.

Very gratefully,

Len  from "Sweet Home Alabama"
