Think & Grow Rich Lessons

I remember watching Perry Mason movies on television with my parents! For those of you too young to remember who Perry Mason was, he was a fictional character played by the actor, Raymond Burr. Perry Mason was a trial lawyer whom never lost a case at trial. It was from watching these movies that I first acquired the desire to become a trial lawyer. I was maybe 11 or 12 years young at the time. I remember remarking to my parents, "Mom, Dad, that's what I want to do when I grow up"! My parents were always very encouraging and I can still hear them say to me, "Steve, you can become whomever you want to be if you are willing to pay the price necessary to get there"! Neither of my parents graduated from high school. I think that is one reason they thought so highly of education. My father, a skilled tradesman, always told me, "Steve, you need a skill or a trade to be successful and if you do not confine yourself to any one geographic location you should always have employment"!

So, I began my quest to graduate from college and law school to make my number one dream come true! I graduated college in 1985 and law school in 1989. I started out as a prosecutor because I made the decision during law school that I would get at least 100 jury trials of experience before I went into private practice! I accomplished this in just 7 years and went out on my own in 1996. I remember my trial practice professor in law school, Jack Gordon (who taught at my law school part-time and was a famous Oklahoma trial lawyer full-time), telling me, "Steve, office lawyers are a dime a dozen, but trial lawyers can write their own ticket and the sky is the limit"! I quickly discovered how true Jack was! I could not believe the amount of money I earned starting out in private practice! I will never forget getting over $20,000.00 for one case! How? Because I possessed the specialized legal knowledge that Hill describes that all of those dime a dozen office lawyers did not possess! In private practice, I also quickly learned that most lawyers were afraid to go to trial. But, not me! I loved it! And, I still do!

While I was in college, one of my lawyer friends invited me to his home one night for a business meeting! This is when I first learned about network marketing! I was 19 years young! The year was 1977!

I tried to make network marketing work for me in the 70's and 80's and 90's and failed, miserably, every time! Why? Because a lot of well-meaning people did not possess the specialized knowledge to share with me that is required to be successful in the network marketing profession!

I did not learn that specialized knowledge was necessary to succeed in the network marketing profession until I downloaded and read the "Success In 10 Steps" e-book and plugged into the Mentoring For Free system. That was September of 2010!

Fast forward almost 6 years and I am amazed at how much specialized knowledge about network marketing I now possess and apply daily as a habit! Applying my specialized knowledge of network marketing is now automatic and like second nature for me just like picking a jury is in my law business!

I believe that I never would have learned the specialized knowledge about network marketing had it not been for finding Mentoring For Free! And, this is why I so passionately share "Success In 10 Steps" and the MFF system with ALL marketers! I want everyone to learn this specialized knowledge so that they, too, can make network marketing work for them! I'm just curious, would it be okay if you could make network marketing work for you? If "yes", then be here a year from now!
