The Sixth Sense
The Door to the Temple of Wisdom
It is difficult to explain the Sixth Sense to a person who does not understand and mastered the Principles clearly set out be Hill in Think and Grow Rich. Some people appear to have a mastery of it from a very early age; others learn and master it with study and time. It acts involuntary of any of the other senses and can directly control a person’s actions and responses.
This is particularly true when unexpected dangers arise when the Sixth Sense ceases control and avoids the danger. I have personally experienced this when an incident ahead has caused a dangerous situation. The sixth sense has taken control of the vehicle and if by a miracle either stopped the vehicle or steered around the incident even though under normal circumstances I would have become involved in the incident.
I have experienced similar talks with God as described by Lyn in her lesson. But due to persistence of God have finally obeyed and the praying completed. In the morning the reason for the urgent prayer has been revealed.
There are countless other occasions when the Sixth Sense has played a major role in the solution of problems, suggest plans or ways to move my business forward, trouble is I am not always prepared to listen. Recently I have been more aware of the Sixth Sense and have now returned to my practice of many years of having note pads around at all times so that when I receive a hunch or idea I can record it either as a sketch or write word. Never think that these ideas or hunches can be retained by the memory. They last only a few seconds or minutes and are gone. You may recall them at a later date when you realise that what another person has produced was what infinite intelligence originally showed you.
Recently the Sixth Sense has helped me with sorting out another person’s personal circumstance. On a number of occasions the person would only reveal part of what was or has happened but the Sixth Sense revealed to me other events and factors to complete the full story. The person’s reaction was to ask how I knew those things, I did not tell you, are you clairvoyant.
Thank you to Michael and Linda, for your insights into these chapters each week, to all those who prepare lessons and speak up on the calls to further our knowledge of the Principles contained in TRG.
